An extension to the speaker application deadline; a call for sponsors; and info about volunteer opportunities.

Seeking speakers to talk about design for WordPress

There are still a few openings on the schedule for design-related sessions. If you’d like to pitch a topic, we’d love to hear from you. The speaker application deadline has been extended to September 2 for design-related topics. Apply now!

A few ideas to get the creative juices flowing, if you’d like:

  • Best practices for responsive design
  • What’s your workflow/design process?
  • Mobile-first design
  • Typography tips for your designs
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Creating a child theme

Sponsor us

We are looking for 3-4 sponsors from within our community to help put on WordCamp Boise. Sponsoring will enable you to give back to the WordPress community and simultaneously capture the attention of a diverse and engaged audience. Volunteer opportunities

We’re looking for non-technical and technical help and will soon put out a call for volunteers. Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Registration/tickets
  • Room runners

  • Answering questions at the Happiness Bar
  • Video editing (after WordCamp Boise has concluded)

We’re excited to open the call for speakers for WordCamp Boise 2019!

We gathered a general list of ideas and topics our audience might be interested in on our Become a Speaker page for your inspiration. If you have a topic you’re passionate about or are an expert in something we haven’t mentioned, don’t hesitate to apply! We are accepting talks from all areas of expertise and are also open to hearing from relevant experts from outside the WordPress world.

Call for Sponsors

On November 15-16, 2019, Boise will host the first ever WordCamp in Idaho. The two-day conference will take place at Boise State University.

Fun fact: About 1/3 of all websites in the world are run with the WordPress content management system. That could include your customers and maybe even you!

Welcome to WordCamp Boise

This fall Boise will be host to the first ever WordCamp held in the state of Idaho. The two-day event will be November 15-16 at Boise State University.    WordCamps are attended by designers, developers, business owners, bloggers, copywriters, consultants, hobbyists, students and educators, employees who use WordPress as part of their job, and anyone else who uses WordPress in any way.
