Last-minute tips for attending WordCamp Boise

We look forward to welcoming you to WordCamp Boise, Idaho’s first WordCamp. If you’d like, we’ve gathered a few final reminders and tips.

What to bring

  • Pack light but remember to bring the essentials
  • If you’re bringing a laptop or phone, remember the chargers
  • Business cards
  • List of questions

When you’re at WordCamp

Make friends! Don’t be afraid to walk up to people and introduce yourself.

Don’t feel like you have to attend a talk in every single time slot. It’s totally acceptable to take a break; it can be an opportunity for a chat, a moment to recharge, or a chance to visit the “Hallway Track.”

Other reminders

  • There’s a coupon code for parking in the Lincoln Avenue Garage.
  • On Saturday we suggest you eat dinner before joining us at the After Party. The venue, Trailhead Boise, is an event/co-work space downtown, with lots of restaurants nearby.
  • A few remaining volunteer slots – We are in need of a couple more room runners. You’ll still get to watch sessions in whatever room you’re assigned to. You just get the additional honor of introducing the speaker(s) by reading their already-prepared bios and keeping them on track time-wise. Would you be willing to help? Let us know via this volunteer sign-up form.
